On June 13, 2025 it's that time again: Ulm Swearing Monday will be celebrated with the colorful and lively Nabada. The popular water parade, which every year turns the Danube into a scene of joy and merriment, is expecting up to 8,000 participants this year. Despite partly uncertain weather forecasts, which could bring sunshine in the morning but rain and thunderstorms in the afternoon, the main organizer Michael Schwender is optimistic that the Nabada can take place as planned. In the event of extreme weather, the event will be postponed by one hour and the decision on whether to take place will not be made until shortly before the official start at 4 p.m.
If you are not yet equipped with your own boat, you can stock up at several points of sale in Ulm. At Decathlon you can get swimming rings from 9.99 euros and inflatable boats from 56.95 euros.
