The Neu-Ulm district can look back on a positive year in tourism. From January to July 2025, the region recorded a 7.5% increase in guest numbers compared to the same period last year. Overnight stays also shot up by 5.4%, underpinning Neu-Ulm's popularity among travelers. Above all, the district stands out from the Bavarian Swabia region as a whole, which has recorded slight declines overall this year. In absolute numbers this means: In the first seven months of this year there were 176,527 arrivals and 312,582 overnight stays in Neu-Ulm. In comparison, the city of Augsburg recorded 366,766 arrivals and 658,495 overnight stays, while the Günzburg district recorded 318,159 arrivals and 556,181 overnight stays.
