Neuburg's training market 2025: Opportunities and challenges for trainees!

On September 1st, a new phase of life begins for many young people in Neuburg: the start of training. The Neuburger Rundschau has asked around and shows what the training positions are like in the region. In total, the city of Neuburg will employ six trainees in 2025, including one in the city gardening department, one in the sewage treatment plant, two in administration and two in teacher training. Despite efforts, there are challenges in specific professions.

The picture on the training market is mixed. While administrative positions are relatively easy to fill, civil service careers remain less comfortable. At the same time, the Neuburg-Schrobenhausen district office is hiring eleven new trainees in the administrative area, which shows that there is a certain need here.

Large employers and training opportunities

The Bavarian Red Cross (BRK) Neuburg trains around 15 young people in the areas of care and childcare. The Ameos Klinikum St. Elisabeth is also active and trains 30 trainees, 22 of whom are in nursing. But the private sector with the Omira dairy and the vehicle care manufacturer Sonax is not left out either: the latter is planning to train five new skilled workers in the food industry and is starting with twelve trainees, compared to the original number of 15.

However, smaller and medium-sized companies are often faced with the challenge of only being able to employ a few trainees due to skilled workers being difficult to reach. However, the number of applicants for Audi in Ingolstadt, the region's largest employer, remains at a high level: over 450 trainees are being hired here in various areas. However, there was also a decline of 5.7% in the number of training positions offered in Bavaria.

The way into the future

The Federal Employment Agency reports that applications for training positions in Bavaria have increased by 2.4%, which reflects the attractiveness of some training occupations. But despite these positive reports, experts assume that the challenges in filling certain professions in Neuburg will continue in 2026. Demographic developments and changing career aspirations also shape the training market here.

For anyone who is thinking about an attractive design when furnishing their first home, IKEA may also be worth considering. The Scandinavian furniture chain offers wooden bathroom furniture that creates a calm and natural atmosphere. The range ranges from water table base boxes in different sizes to versatile color variants. The combination of black bathroom furniture that is not only modern but also timeless is becoming increasingly popular.

In summary, it can be said that the 2025 training class in Neuburg brings with it both opportunities and challenges. It remains to be seen how the market will develop and whether the efforts of large and small companies will bear fruit.
