The Schrobenhausen Adult Education Center (VHS) starts the fall/winter semester with a wide range of over 600 courses and events. This exciting season begins on September 19th with a festive concert evening with Ricardo Volkert and his ensemble. The program offers a colorful potpourri of creative, culinary, musical and political topics that has something to offer for every age group and experience level.
The established formats such as “vhs makes cinema”, the house music evenings and political education are particularly popular. New offerings include courses on classical music, e.g. classical concerts, as well as interesting workshops on relaxation techniques and sustainable construction. The VHS wastes no time and ensures a rich experience for all participants.
Diversity for everyone
A big focus is on small children, with offers such as “Sound Children” as well as creative workshops called, for example, “Relaxation Painting Time”. The topic of health and exercise is also not neglected: courses such as “Happy Taping for Kids”, “Strengthening Pelvic Floor School” and “Helix Taiji Body Journey” are available. If you want to dance, you can take part in “Movement & Expression – Yoga meets Dance” or Zumba®.
For young families, informative lectures on dental care as well as the workshop “Emergency Strategies in Everyday Life” are offered. The program not only promotes individual education, but also social cohesion in the region.
Languages and creativity
For people with language and creative experience, the offer includes language courses in Croatian, Bosnian and Serbian for beginners as well as a sheep's head course. Creative professionals can look forward to the “Speedwriting” course and the “Fascination of the Forest” nature course.
As part of the Adult Education Association of Bavaria, the VHS Schrobenhausen is an important contact point for adult education. Further training, educational holidays and various lectures are offered here. The current program can be viewed as a web flip book on their website, and printed booklets have been distributed since August 11th. Registration is possible both online and in person at the VHS office.
The extensive range of courses ensures that everyone interested can find something suitable. Whether for further professional development, basic education or simply for personal enrichment - the VHS is open to everyone.
