The focus: Successful MFA and ZFA tag in Munich!

Neustadt an der Aisch, Deutschland - Last Saturday, June 28, 2025, the 18th edition of the German MFA Day and ZFA tag took place in Munich. Around 500 medical assistants (MFAS), dental assistants (ZFAs) and other practice employees from all over Germany came together to exchange ideas about current topics and trends in practice and healthcare. The event, which was organized by the PKV Institute and under the direction of managing director Katrin Egenberger, offered an interesting mix of workshops, lectures and personal encounters. [ZWP Online] (https://www.zwp-online.info/zwpnews/dental-news/branchsmertungen/achliche-impulse-pferschorliche- undruckenwind) reports on the lively atmosphere and commitment of the participants.

A highlight of the event was the moderation by Ralf Schmitt, who was again acting as a moderator since 2022. He led the participants through a varied program that dealt with important topics such as practical organization, quality management and communication. Workshops on practical skills were also offered that should enable those involved to improve their skills in the field of first aid and resuscitation or in dealing with fear patients.

diverse workshops and lectures

One of the most sought -after lectures was that of Markus Hofmann, who gave tips on improving memory performance and thus encouraging the participants to learn new techniques for mental preparation and dealing with the daily flood of information. "The memory is the treasury of our being," said Hofmann, while introducing methods to store data and facts quickly and sustainably. In addition, in workshops from experienced experts, the participants were able to learn how to make their cooperation motivating.

The ophthalmologist's practice in the brewery in Neustadt an der Aisch was honored for the award of the MFA Award. The ZFA Award fell to the large practice "The Dentists on Neumühlenweg" in Bad Windsheim. The aim of these awards is to underline the appreciation and social recognition for the achievements of MFAS and ZFAs. These awards not only provide inspiration, but also a positive working atmosphere in the health sector.

an outlook on the future

Interested parties should already make a note for the 19th edition of the German MfA Day and ZFA tags, which will take place on June 13, 2026 in the Hotel Leonardo Royal in Munich. Further information on events, topics and registration options can be found on the website mfa-tag and zfa-tag.

Finally, it can be said that the congress not only offered a platform for the exchange of specialist knowledge, but also for personal encounters, which unfortunately are too short in everyday hectic practice. This type of events brings a breath of fresh air to our community and reminds us of how important the exchange of experiences is.
