Darmstadt thanks to Corredor with a last-minute win in Nuremberg!

On August 11, 2025 there was an exciting duel in the 2nd Bundesliga between SV Darmstadt 98 and 1. FC Nürnberg. This goal, which came with a probability of only 44.94%, not only gave Darmstadt the victory, but also the temporary lead in the 2nd Bundesliga. “We have made great progress, that makes us proud,” beamed Darmstadt coach Florian Kohfeldt after the final whistle.

After this defeat, Nuremberg remains pointless and winless and now has the next challenge ahead of them in the DFB Cup against FV Illertissen on August 16th. Darmstadt, on the other hand, will also face Lübeck in the cup and can hope for the league again on August 24th against Hertha BSC.
