While FCN couldn't really penetrate offensively, Hertha set further accents with the second goal from Cuisance in the 42nd minute. Thorsteinsson missed a great chance in the last second of the first half.
After the break, FCN pushed for a connection, but another dangerous situation in the 60th minute was defused by Ernst, the Hertha keeper. In the 85th minute, Hertha's third goal came from Kownacki, who scored from 20 meters.
Personnel challenges at Hertha BSC
The injury problem remains a hot topic at Hertha BSC. The club currently has several players in rehab, including a 20-year-old who has been out since July 8th with an ankle injury and is expected to be unable to play until the end of November.
