The winter break in the 2nd Bundesliga is finally over! On Saturday, January 17th, at 1 p.m., SV Elversberg and 1. FC Nürnberg will meet in the Max Morlock Stadium. After almost four weeks of preparation, Elversberger's first competitive game is on the agenda in 2026. Coach Vincent Wagner, who prepared intensively for this restart with his team, is optimistic. “The preparation was good, the training camp brought a lot,” he says. Rohr is the hero of the day when he nods into the bottom right corner in stoppage time. Wagner is celebrating a successful debut as coach at Elversberg, while 1. FC Nürnberg has to accept another opening defeat - the fourth in a row.
