A lot has happened recently in German cities regarding parking on sidewalks. Würzburg in particular takes consistent action against illegal parking. Despite existing laws that prohibit parking on sidewalks, German Environmental Aid (DUH) shows that many municipalities remain inactive or even tolerate the problem.
