On October 6, 2025, the prizes for school newspapers were awarded in Munich as part of the “Die Raute” event. Organized by the Hanns Seidel Foundation e.V., the event offered a platform to honor the best school newspapers in the country. The foundation has been awarding this prize since 2010 and has experienced impressive development since then, with over 100 entries at the end of the 2024/2025 school year, such as the Main Post reported. The digital development of school newspapers, which is being driven forward by the use of platforms such as Instagram and YouTube, was also observed by the Youth Press Germany.
