Rosenheim wastes important points: Drama against Kirchheim and Kastl!

In the latest edition of football events in the region, the events on the pitches of the state league are particularly exciting. Steven Toy, the coach of Kirchheimer SC, praises TSV 1860 Rosenheim as the strongest opponent his team has had so far this season. However, Toy noticed that his protégés were unable to produce their usual performance and lacked the necessary calm in the game. A crucial one-on-one was saved by goalkeeper Kolbe, keeping the team in the match. Despite a 100 percent chance that Kirchheim had, they were unable to equalize until the end, Fupa reports.

On the other hand, Rosenheim coach Wolfgang Schellenberg is anything but satisfied. He sees two points lost in the game. Rosenheim was superior throughout the game and took the lead after a set piece in the second half, but the team was unable to follow up. The 75th minute brought several top-class chances for Rosenheim, and when they equalized in stoppage time, a header just before the end narrowly failed to hit the crossbar.

A bitter defeat for Kastl

However, current events are not only relevant for Kirchheim and Rosenheim. Harald Mayer, the coach of TSV Kastl, breaks into a sweat while analyzing his team. Kastl was unable to break free from the defensive grip and conceded an early goal from a corner and a goalkeeper error. After the score was 1-2 in the second half and there were more chances to equalize, Mayer saw the decisive setback in another goal due to a mistake by his goalkeeper. The game ended with a clear 1:5 defeat. Mayer is already warning of a possible relegation, Fupa reports.

VfB Hallbergmoos-Goldach, under the direction of Andreas Giglberger, was able to come up trumps and put in an impressive performance against Kastl. The first half was characterized by dominance and intensity, and the early goal from a corner and another wonderful goal from Tobi Krause secured a deserved victory.

Change of coach in the relegation battle

In parallel to the regional developments, a look at higher football in Germany sheds an interesting light on the clubs' situations. The relegation battle in the Bundesliga does not stop at coaching changes. For example, Arminia Bielefeld is currently in 17th place, three points behind the 15th place. The club fired coach Frank Kramer at short notice because they were no longer convinced of his ability to turn things around. Marco Kostmann, previous goalkeeper coach, will take over for the remaining games, RP Online reports.

Statistics show that late coaching changes often do not bring the desired success. Since the 2011/12 season, 13 clubs changed coaches after matchday 26, but only two clubs improved their place in the table. The recent experiences of Werder Bremen and Schalke also illustrate the difficulties that can arise with such a late change.

On the other hand, some early coaching changes have saved teams, as the case of Bayern Munich under Hansi Flick shows. He was able to lead the team from 4th place to the championship. It therefore remains to be seen whether Bielefeld will be able to turn things around and whether there will be additional club changes in the relegation battle. The football remains exciting until the end - especially in the lower league regions.
