SpVgg Unterhaching U21: Last minute point against Rosenheim!
The fans experienced a spectacular football game on Wednesday evening in Rosenheim when the U21s of SpVgg Unterhaching and TSV 1860 Rosenheim met. In the end it was 2-2, with the guests from Haching stealing a point with a last-minute goal from Andreas Schweinsteiger. Philipp Zimmerer had already given Hachinger the lead in the 3rd minute of the game, but Rosenheim showed great fighting spirit.
After a powerful start by the Unterhaching U21, TSV 1860 Rosenheim slowly pushed itself back into the game. Audi Elghatous finally equalized in the 60th minute, and Leon Tutic even gave the home team a 2-1 lead in the 67th minute. Nevertheless, the young Hachinger team, whose average age is only 17.8 years, fought for the equalizer until the last minute, which coach Andreas Haidl commented on with positive words.
An exciting start to the second half of the season
The game was the start of the second half of the U21 association league, and Rosenheim was blessed with a shot off the post in the final minutes of the first half, which increased the pressure on Hachinger. Despite being temporarily behind, the Hachingers showed strong comeback qualities in the final phase and were rewarded with a deserved point.
However, it is important for the Rosenheim U21 to rehabilitate themselves. After a 1-1 draw against TSV Aßling the previous week, they were eager to get the first three points of the second half of the season. On Saturday, July 26, 2025, you will have the chance again when FC Garmisch-Partenkirchen awaits you in Neuried.
Looking forward to the next game
Garmisch-Partenkirchen started the season anything but optimally: In their first game they suffered a 2:4 defeat against TSV Grünwald. But in the most recent game they got their first point of the season with a last-minute equalizer against SV Aubing. This means they come to Neuried highly motivated.
The game on Saturday promises excitement, kick-off is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Referee Michael Bäumel will officiate the game, supported by linesmen Uli Schindler and Maximilian Biener. Admission prices are manageable at €9 (reduced €6), and children up to 7 years get in free – perfect for a family trip to the stadium.
