At around 2:10 p.m., a 57-year-old driver veered from the middle lane to the right lane and hit a semi-trailer that was being driven by a 43-year-old driver. The impact was so severe that the two vehicles were no longer drivable and had to be towed away. The driver suffered minor injuries in the incident and was taken to hospital in an ambulance. The material damage is estimated at around 55,000 euros, but the exact cause of the crash onto the right-hand lane remains unclear, as inFranken reports.
