Big donation for children's cancer aid: Diaf am Schloss” inspires!

It was a day full of joy and solidarity in Baumgarten when the board of the “edition.13” association handed over an impressive donation to the Rottal-Inn Children's Cancer Aid. This check presentation took place as part of the “Diaf in the Castle” event, which was held for the fifth time this year. Around 700 visitors were able to enjoy 250 unique vehicles that day and at the same time support a good cause. The motto of the meeting “LOW AGAINST CANCER” not only appeals to car lovers, but also shows the responsibility that the association assumes for the community.

“Diaf am Schloss” has been an established event since 2018, with all proceeds going to local children’s cancer charities. This year the donation amount will be increased to an impressive 7,000 euros, which is a real reason for joy for everyone involved. Without any profit-making intention, it allows organizers and visitors to share a positive experience while providing valuable support.

A community project for a good cause

The event becomes more popular every year and attracts more and more enthusiastic participants. Officially registered as a non-profit organization, “edition.13” can now also issue donation receipts, which is an additional incentive for sponsors to get involved. The quality of the tuning meet always remains in the foreground, and the charity aspect is by no means neglected. If you believe the organizers, they want to do much more with this event than just present beautiful cars. It's about helping together and giving a bit of hope.

Creativity for further fundraising campaigns is an important part of this commitment. Ideas from a wide variety of areas are often implemented, from concerts and seasonal events to sporting events and theater performances. Such initiatives are not only warmly welcomed; they are also actively encouraged. Organizers are invited to contact KinderkrebsHilfe during the planning phase in order to receive the best possible support and to optimally design their actions. Further information and support is available on the Children's Cancer Aid website.

The commitment and passion that goes into the “Diaf am Schloss” event shows how you can do a lot of good with a hobby like a passion for cars. In a world that often seems hectic and superficial, it is nice to see that there is a community spirit in Baumgarten that encourages meaningful action and creates hope. The anticipation for the next edition of the event is already palpable – there is definitely something coming up!
