Englhardt- Kopf emphasizes how important such government funding programs are in uncertain times. The planning security is a real benefit for citizens and companies, which can gain more courage to invest. “We have shown a good hand,” said the MP. KfW has also provided an impressive amount for the Schwandorf and Cham districts in 2024. A total of 222.8 million euros were invested in the region. The Schwandorf district alone received 167.7 million euros, while Cham received 55.1 million euros. The funding went primarily to measures for energy-efficient construction and support for medium-sized businesses. In the Schwandorf district, for example, 1,493 residential units were funded with 42.1 million euros, which shows how strong investments are currently.
