Classic car festival in Burglengenfeld: A festival for automobile lovers!

On Saturday, June 8, 2025, the VW-Audi meeting took place for the fifth time at the Volksfestplatz in Burglengenfeld. Despite some adverse weather conditions, which deterred many participants from having to travel longer, the event was well received. Organizers Bastian Dürnhofer and Christian Lautenschlager announced that around 350 vehicles, including many vintage and tuning vehicles, flocked to the site and around 1,500 guests admired the various models. A Ford F3 pickup from 1952 also attracted attention because it is known from several American film productions. This passion for old treasures and the family atmosphere are part of the success of the meeting, as the organizers emphasized.

During the rain, the grill station was a popular attraction. Visitors talked shop with the vehicle owners and enjoyed the time despite the wet conditions. Many vehicles also praised old local abbreviations on their license plates, and most participants came from central and northern Upper Palatinate. Security and outlook

The safety precautions were required by the licensing authorities.
