There was a shocking traffic accident in Mariaposching on Tuesday evening that caused a slight uproar in the otherwise quiet community. At around 7:30 p.m. an overcrowded light motorcycle with three people was traveling on the road from Niederwinkling towards Offenberg. When cornering, the motorcycle ended up in the oncoming lane RegioAktuell24 reports.
The driver, who was also on the road at that moment, was able to avoid a collision with the light motorcycle by taking evasive action. However, the driver of the motorcycle lost control, swerved to the left and fell into an adjacent field. A female passenger suffered minor injuries and remained at the scene of the accident while the other two vehicle occupants fled. Fortunately, the driver was uninjured.
Escape and calling for witnesses
