Dancing and celebrating: The top events in Northern Upper Palatinate in 2025!
A lot is happening in Northern Upper Palatinate! The region will soon be characterized by exciting events that will not only make the hearts of dance and music lovers beat faster. A highlight that is in the starting blocks is theDance Your Style Contest, organized by the Stadtjugendring Weiden in cooperation with local dance studios. OnSunday, October 5th, 2025, the dancers fly across the stage in different categories. From the smallest minis to adults – all age groups get their money’s worth here.
The competition is divided into several categories:
- Minis (bis 7 Jahre)
- Kids (bis 12 Jahre)
- Juniors (13 bis 18 Jahre)
- Adults (ab 18 Jahre)
- Ü30
The minis, juniors and over 30s start at 10:00 a.m., while the kids and adults can show off their talent at 3:00 p.m. There is an incentive especially for the youngest: children up to 4 years old have free entry. Franziska Glaser takes over the unmistakable moderation and ensures the right atmosphere during the competition, which concludes with an awards ceremony after the first performances.
Supporting program and dance art
But that's not all! In addition to the dance competition, visitors can expect a colorful supporting program with performances by local dance groups from Bavaria.
