A disturbing series of acts of vandalism has caused a stir in Margetshöchheim. At least five parked cars were damaged in the night from Thursday to Friday, resulting in total damage of over ten thousand euros. After the incidents became known, the Würzburg-Land police station is investigating and is urgently looking for witnesses.
The crime occurred between Thursday, 12 p.m. and Friday, 10 a.m., and all vehicles affected were parked on Mainstrasse. Investigators also found scratch marks on the cars that appeared to have been caused by a sharp object. The unknown perpetrator is still in hiding and the police are asking for information from the public. Anyone who has seen something or can provide relevant information is asked to call 0931/457-1630.
