Two acts of violence in Bad Homburg: Police are looking for witnesses!
Things are getting turbulent in Bad Homburg these days: a recent violent crime is causing excitement among the residents. On June 13, 2025, at 7 p.m., an incident occurred at Rathausplatz that raises many questions. A 34-year-old man approached two men and asked for a light. This small interaction quickly led to a verbal argument, as a result of which the situation escalated. The two men beat him while he was still on the ground and then fled towards Bad Homburg train station. The perpetrators are described as around 25 years old, around 180 cm tall and thin, with short, light hair and patterned shirts. The next morning, on June 14, 2025, there was another violent confrontation in Kronberg. At around 12:56 a.m., seven people became involved in an argument on the bus while returning from the fountain festival. One victim was thrown to the ground and kicked after getting out, while another was punched in the face. Here too, the perpetrators fled to a nearby hotel. What's exciting is that the description of the suspects varies: one perpetrator with a beige Gucci cap, another dressed in black and a third with a strong build and southern appearance.
Security situation and break-ins
But it's not just the streets that are affected by violence. On June 13th between 9:30 and 10:15 a.m. a burglary was committed from a car in Bad Homburg. An unknown man broke the window of a white Nissan and stole a bag. The police estimate the property damage at around 500 euros. The description of the perpetrator suggests a man between the ages of 35 and 40 with a strong build and dark gray clothing. A really classic break-in took place in Kronberg, where unknown people broke into a single-family home on June 14th at 11:18 p.m. Four-digit property damage was caused while the perpetrators fled.
