Speedy drunk driving in Rosenheim: panic and threat with a weapon!
On the night of Thursday, October 31, 2025, a bizarre and dangerous incident occurred in Rosenheim that brought the police to the scene. Loud Mercury A 20-year-old driver from Munich raced through the city at over 100 km/h and ignored several red lights. The young man was obviously drunk and possibly also under the influence of drugs, because he continued to drink alcohol during the high-speed drive. In the car there was a 19-year-old passenger next to him and two women, 18 and 22 years old, in the back seat.
The two women were understandably concerned and demanded to be allowed to leave the car. The driver fulfilled this wish and dropped her off on the outskirts of Kolbermoor. The women decided to continue driving in their own vehicles. However, the careless behavior of the two men quickly came to an end when they had an accident with their car at a gas station: They crashed into a concrete post, which damaged the front axle of the vehicle and made it impossible to continue driving.
Escalation and threat
What followed was more than just a lighthearted outing. While the two men were waiting, the women happened to meet them again at the gas station. However, this encounter took a dangerous turn: the passenger pulled out a blank gun and threatened the women, saying he would shoot them. This threat raised alarm bells and the police were quickly contacted.
The officers quickly arrived at the gas station and temporarily arrested the two men. The 19-year-old passenger's breath alcohol test showed 0.5 per mille, while the driver refused to undergo such a test but showed signs of alcoholism and drug use. Both men are now facing serious legal consequences: the passenger is charged with violating the weapons law and threatening, while the driver has to answer for endangering road traffic and a prohibited motor vehicle race.
Looking for witnesses
In this context, the Rosenheim police are asking possible witnesses or victims of the rapid drive to come forward. The incidents not only raise questions about road safety, but also show how quickly a harmless trip can turn into a dangerous adventure.
