An exciting weekend is just around the corner in the Neckar-Odenwald district! From June 27th to 29th, 2025, numerous events await residents and visitors that offer something for every taste. Whether music, festivals or exciting activities – there really is something for everyone here.

The **1250th anniversary of Großeicholzheim**, which is celebrated with a colorful festival program, is particularly eye-catching. Ten clubs from the village have come together to found an **event company** and organize the celebrations. From the ceremony on Friday evening to various performances and festivities throughout the weekend – tensions are high and anticipation is great. The proceeds go to the clubs involved and are heavily dependent on the volunteers who provide active support. SV Großeicholzheim reports that the events also aim to strengthen the village community and bring Großeicholzheim's history to life.

Pre-summer festival in Buchen

But there is also a lot going on in Buchen! The **Pre-Summer Festival** brings with it a lot of entertainment from Friday to Sunday. A highlight is the **rock night** on Friday with the bands “Valine Vibe” and “Still Riot”. On Saturday the **beer tapping** will be celebrated at 4:30 p.m., followed by musical performances by the city band. The Eberstadt Music Association will perform at 7 p.m. before the city band concludes the program on the stone stage at 9 p.m. A convivial **breakfast** on Sunday at 11:15 a.m. brings the festival to a sociable conclusion.

More highlights in the circle

For sports enthusiasts there is a **equestrian tournament** in Buchen with various disciplines on Saturday and Sunday, while in Mosbach there is a **Young Podium** with talented students from the music school on Sunday at 5 p.m. entry is free. A **summer festival at the Johannes-Diakonie** in Mosbach on Sunday, which starts with a service at 10:30 a.m., and numerous other events in and around Mosbach also provide a lot of variety. This also includes a **benefit concert** in the Johanniterhaus in Tannenhof, which starts on Saturday at 2 p.m.

Another exciting event is the **Cherry Festival in Neunkirchen**, which not only attracts with live music, but also with a festive parade. At the same time, a **Nature Park Market** is taking place in Mosbach, which offers regional products and delicacies at 45 stands.
