At the 59th Great Palatinate Wine Tasting of the Wine Brotherhood, the atmosphere in the hall was simply fantastic. Many wine lovers gathered to taste the exquisite selection of 21 fine wines. Three months before the event, the 1,000 tickets were sold out, turning the rainy day into a true holiday for the Palatinate wine culture. Among the participants were Torben and Verena Lessmann, Catarina Lauritzen, Martin Kiemes and Armin Locker from the traditional costume group, who didn't want to miss the event.
The Wachner winery from Offenbach an der Queich proudly presented its Pinot Gris “Gesellenstück”. While the event was very popular, there was still a shadow hanging over the winemakers, who were worried about the future. The challenges facing the wine industry were not forgotten at this celebratory gathering.
