Left-handed people take note: the 25th Golf Championship in Celle is starting soon!
There is great anticipation for next August, because the 25th National Left Hand Championship of the N.A.L.G. will take place at the Herzogstadt Celle Golf Club from August 16th to 17th, 2025. Germany e.V. This special event brings together Germany's left-handed golfers and offers exciting competitions in one of the most beautiful golf courses in the region. The championship not only promises top sporting achievements, but also a meeting of like-minded people and an exchange about common challenges.
The N.A.L.G. Germany e.V., founded in Krefeld in 1999, has made it its mission to represent the interests of left-handed golfers. The club was born out of the need to eliminate the difficulties left-handed golfers experience in obtaining golf equipment. Inspired by similar associations in the USA and Great Britain, the first Germany-wide tournament was held at the Elfrather Mühle Golf Club in the year it was founded. A year later the N.A.L.G. the world association W.A.L.G. and Germany once again hosted the World Championships in 2019, which took place in several German cities.
Current number of participants and venue
The two ladies Christiane von Bothmer and Christine Dollries as well as Joachim Prahst, among others, registered as participants for the championship in Celle. A total of around 50 players in different age groups are expected. The Herzogstadt Celle Golf Club, known for its outstanding location and the surrounding cultural and historical sights, offers the ideal setting for this tournament. Game director Martin Fröhlich emphasizes the importance of youth work in order to secure the future of the golf club and promote valuable talent.
By the way, the golf course will be festively decorated with N.A.L.G. flags during the championship, which will make the event even more of a highlight of the golf year. Preparations are in full swing and everyone involved is optimistic that it will be a successful competition in which the solidarity among the players is clearly noticeable.
