How are the doctors in the Osterode region doing? The Osterode Medical Association has organized an interesting training course. On October 9, 2025, everything will revolve around dealing with BG cases in general practice. The experienced trauma surgeon Dr. med. Florian August will give the expert audience valuable insights as a speaker. The event will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. in the hotel-restaurant “Zum Röddenberg”, Steiler Ackerweg 6, 37520 Osterode, and will earn participants 3 training points.

Registration is possible until October 6, 2025. Anyone who is interested can contact Eva Döhne, clerk at the Lower Saxony Medical Association. She can be reached by phone at 0511-3802-6432 or by email at eva.doehne(at)aekn.de. The training not only promises an interesting evening, but also the opportunity to gain further training in dealing with work accidents. Dr. med. Manfred Eilts, the chairman of the medical association, is pleased about the lively participation.

Diverse professional training

But this is not the only opportunity for further training for specialists in the region. The BG Clinics are offering a series of online training courses as part of their annual planning “BG Update” for 2025. These are specifically aimed at current topics in accident medicine. A highlight is the workshop on the subject of traumatic brain injury on January 30, 2025, led by experts such as Dr. Gonschorek and Prof. Strowitzki.

Other topics include the contextual factors in the healing process, burn injury-oriented training, and aspects of post-COVID rehabilitation. These events offer a valuable opportunity to keep up to date with the latest medical developments and to gain practical knowledge.

A strong network of organizers

In addition to these training offerings, there are a variety of events organized by the AE Arbeitsgemeinschaft Endoprosthetics GmbH and partner organizations such as AO Trauma Germany or the Academy of German Orthopedists. This network is committed to promoting exchange among experts and bringing new findings into practice.

From specialist conferences to seminars – the opportunities for further training are wide-ranging. Whether in orthopedics, trauma surgery or general medicine, the offerings are a valuable resource for every specialist area.

The region is not only medically innovative, but also unifying by bringing experts together and promoting exchange. This is particularly important at a time when continuous training is essential.
