New department in the regional administration: Krach presents candidates!
A lot is happening in the Hanover regional administration: personnel changes are coming that are important for the entire region. On October 8, 2025, the regional administration announced that the regional assembly in May had approved the establishment and tendering of a new department for education, culture and construction management as well as departments I and II. Region President Steffen Krach announced that he would propose three candidates to head the new department. - Anne Spiegel (Dezernat II – Soziales, Teilhabe, Familie und Jugend): 44 Jahre alt und aktuell COO bei krisenchat, bringt sie Erfahrungen als ehemalige Bundesministerin mit.
- Isabella Gifhorn (Dezernat VI – Bildung, Kultur und Baumanagement): 49 Jahre alt und derzeit Erste Stadträtin in Langenhagen, besitzt umfassende Fachkenntnisse in Planung und Bildung.
New department for education, culture and construction management
A special highlight of the changes is the establishment of the Department for Education, Culture and Construction Management, which was unanimously decided by the regional assembly in December 2024.
