On April 6, 2025, two bicycles were stolen at Tostedt train station. According to police reports, four men were arrested in connection with this incident. The stolen bicycles were a dark blue Pegasus trekking bike and a turquoise/silver Ghost children's mountain bike. Since then, however, the bikes have not been returned to their rightful owners.
The reason for this delay is simple: owners have not yet reported any loss of their bikes.
