Daniel Herrmann new king of the Hausbruch shooting club!
After the exciting time of the shooting festival in the summer, the Hausbruch shooting club has a new king. Harburg Current reports that Daniel Herrmann was crowned the new king as the successor to Michael John. In a thrilling competition, the hull of the wooden bird fell with the last shot from Herrmann, who had previously served on the board as viceroy and shooting master.
The new king is not only a well-known marksman, but also brings with him a wide range of interests. Herrmann works at the John Bauer company in Neugraben and uses his free time to train dogs and devote himself to model building. He is married and has two adult children.
Festive atmosphere at the shooting ball
Another highlight for the shooting club was the festive shooting ball, which took place on November 11th in the Landhaus Jägerhof. Instead of a royal ball, there was a big celebration here, like Better-in-view describes. The first chairman Karl-Heinz Ahlt welcomed several club “majesties” and the atmosphere was characterized by a great atmosphere. The “Nightline Band” group provided a lively dance atmosphere while guests gathered over a fried egg meal.
The great commitment of those present from neighboring clubs was particularly appreciated. The reigning King of the South Elbe, Alfred Leye, was received with applause and the crowd of guests from Neugraben-Scheideholz created a lively atmosphere. The festival ended around 3 a.m. and the anticipation for the next royal ball is already growing.
The role of shooting clubs in society
Shooting clubs are more than just places for shooting sports; In many places they are one of the most active groups in the club system. How all shooting clubs explained, they play an important role in preserving traditions and regional cultural heritage. Although many clubs have many members, often only some are actively involved in club life, which is often due to the age of the members and the lack of young talent.
Although the Schützenfest season in Germany traditionally takes place between May and September, celebrations like the one in Hausbruch are not only important for the participants, but also for the local economy. They also promote cross-generational encounters and strengthen the sense of community in the region. The combination of modernizing the club's management and the use of modern technology is considered necessary to make the shooting clubs attractive to new members.
So the Hausbrucher Schützen continue into an exciting time with hopefully many more festivals and activities that keep the sense of community and tradition alive.
