Oil chaos on the district road: 120 liters of hydraulic oil cause closure!

We now know exactly why a large road is closed in the Hildesheim region: On the K305, from the turnoff to Derneburg to the railway crossing in Holle, a section of the road is out of action due to an accident involving an agricultural vehicle. Around 120 liters of hydraulic oil spilled from the vehicle into the surrounding area due to a technical defect, making it impossible to completely clean the road for the time being. Where oil has spilled onto the road, there is a high risk of slipping, which is why the State Road Construction and Transport Authority is immediately ordering the closure of the K305 to ensure the safety of road users.  Regional today reports that the road renovation in the affected area is being progressed, but the exact timing for implementation is still unclear, with a forecast of around two weeks being given.

The motto for road traffic is now: take a detour! Road users are asked to avoid the closed section. A diversion via the L493, Grasdorf, B444 and B6 has been set up. The authority asks for understanding and mutual consideration in this hectic situation.

Oil on the Road: A Serious Problem

It is well known that traces of oil on roads are not only an annoying but also a serious risk to road safety. Sprinkling with oil binding agents is often not enough to restore safety on the roads, as a slippery road surface can lead to dangerous subsequent accidents. There is also a risk that the oil may end up in the groundwater, further exacerbating the situation. That is why efficient and gentle procedures are necessary to eliminate such hazardous substances. Loud Oil defense The cleaning machines used are RAL quality tested and guarantee a sustainable restoration of road safety.

The technology used, such as high-pressure vacuum technology, applies water cleaning surfactant under high pressure and sucks up the wastewater again. These machines are extremely effective when it comes to cleaning both narrow and large oil spills - a key advantage, especially in urban areas with high traffic volumes.
