Great joy in Bramsche: film theater reopening and many celebrations!

There will be a lot going on in the Osnabrück region next weekend from September 12th to 14th, 2025! Various events attract numerous visitors and offer a colorful program for young and old. Here are some highlights that you definitely shouldn't miss.

Filmtheater Universum reopened
That will happen on Friday evening at 7 p.m Film Theater Universe ceremoniously reopened in Bramsche. Under the motto “Freshly painted – back in the armchair”, the cinema hall, which is a listed building, will be reopened after the structural damage from 2018 has been repaired. Visitors can look forward to a free champagne reception, a surprise short film and a concert by the band “Kissies Faces”.

At the weekly market in Bramsche, Diakonie will provide information about “ways to help” from 9 a.m., while the Osnabrück Nutrition Council will present the regional challenge. A day full of activities

Sunday offers another highlight with the “Open Garden Gates” in Malgarten and Rieste from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. For just 2 euros admission, visitors can enjoy a varied program and visit the beautiful gardens of Susanne Nannemann and Walter Brinkmann.

For the nature-loving families there is one on Sunday at 10:30 a.mnatural history family walkat Hasesee. The meeting point is at the Bramscher town hall, registration takes place at naturagaktion@gmx.de.

The Cloth Makers Museum invites you to visit from 10 a.m. to 5 p.mCloth marketwhere over 30 textile artists present their works and various hands-on activities are offered for children.

Shooting festivals and culinary highlights

It starts on SaturdayCalf shootingin four places at the same time: Talge, Gehrde, Quakenbrück and Badbergen. It starts at 2.30 p.m. on the Schützenplatz in Talge, while the fun starts at 2 p.m. in Gehrde. The event features shooting competitions, a raffle and is accompanied by DJ Ewald.

The integrative barbecue festival in Quakenbrück, which is celebrated on Saturday at 5 p.m. in the Diakonie Garden, creates a warm atmosphere. Families and friends are especially invited to enjoy a meal together here.

The weekend is rounded off on Sunday with theAnimal show and farmers marketin Voltlage-Weese, which starts at 10 a.m. The Middendorf farm becomes the setting for a church service, followed by animal shows and a market with regional offerings. Over 180 cows from 30 farms will be presented, and various competitions will also provide entertainment.

For everyone who likes music, there will also be a US folk concert in the evening in the Ankum cultural area, where the band Bombadil will perform. Enjoy the sounds from 8 p.m.!
