Salzgitter Cultural Summer: Big concerts with a star line-up start!

The Salzgitter cultural summer is entering the next round! On July 23, 2025, the starting signal was given for a series of concerts in the mill garden of the Schloss Salder Municipal Museum that will delight music fans in the region until August 10. Organized by the Cultural Department of the City of Salzgitter, supported by Studio D4, the Piekert Concert Agency and the Salzgitter Music Days, you can look forward to top-class acts offering a colorful musical program.

The big concerts take place in the castle courtyard and promise entertainment in varied formats. The program includes, among other things:

• 1. August, 20 Uhr: Versengold – eine Folkrock-Band mit 20-jähriger Erfolgsgeschichte (Einlass 18 Uhr).
• 2. August, 20 Uhr: Alex Christensen & Friends – bekannt für Hits der 90er (Einlass 18.30 Uhr).
• 3. August, 20 Uhr: Max Mutzke und Band, mit Vorgruppe Teresa Bergman (Einlass 18.30 Uhr).
• 7. August, 20 Uhr: LaBrassBanda – eine innovative Mischung aus Brass, Pop, Techno und Ska aus Bayern (Einlass 18.30 Uhr).
• 8. August, 20 Uhr: Culcha Candela – HipHop, Reggae, Dancehall und mehr mit über 22 Jahren Karriere (Einlass 18 Uhr).
• 9. August, 20 Uhr: Alex Parker – Pianist und Sänger, erinnert an Udo Jürgens (Einlass 18.30 Uhr).
• 10. August, 20 Uhr: Thomas D & The KBCS mit Flo Mega – neue musikalische Symbiosen des Rappers der Fantastischen Vier (Einlass 18.30 Uhr).

Alex Christensen & Friends – A musical journey through time

Alex Christensen's show on August 2nd is particularly exciting because it promises a very special performance. The successful DJ and producer, who shaped the 90s with his hits “Das Boot” and “united”, among others, will be performing here with a live DJ production. The focus is on Christensen himself, who puts his DJ console in the foreground and gathers soloists on saxophone, keyboard and percussion and several singers around him. The combination of classical and dance music creates a fresh sound design that will delight fans of both the 80s and 90s.

This concept has already found numerous fans in the past live shows, who are invited to flock to the dance floor during the musical journey through time. This cross-genre performance will certainly cause a sensation in Salzgitter, because regardless of whether you grew up with the old classics or simply like the beats of today, everyone will get their money's worth here.
