On June 22, 2025, the town hall square in Verden will be the scene of an extraordinary spectacle: under the title “Awakening”, the ensemble La Poesia will bring a circus-poetic performance to the open-air stage. This is an event that warmly invites both young and old to immerse themselves in a world full of stories and musical interludes. The performance is the result of a team of five great artists who excel in the fields of artistry, theater and music. The focus here is on the concept of Katharina Witerzens, an artist and cultural manager from Celle. Its mission is to create new scope for vibrant culture. The nostalgically designed backdrop of the circus wagon, which functions as a stage and prop storage, becomes part of the overall artistic concept.
