FABULOUS summer: Langwedeler Kulturverein invites you to the summer festival!
What's happening in Langwedel? A highlight is right around the corner! It opens on July 20, 2025 Langwedel cultural association the gates for his summer festival under the motto “FABULOUS summer”. From 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., visitors big and small can experience a colorful program in the Häuslingshaus, Auf dem Sandberg 11, with free admission.
The event promises lots of fun and entertainment with stories and music that appeal to both children and adults. Particular attention is paid to the art exhibition by Sabine Jäger from Achim, whose series of pictures “Pink Creatures” represents the central figure of the festival. In addition to the exhibition, there will also be a painting activity in which the children can develop their own stories about the character Pink Creature. The “parlor” of the house becomes a place for exciting stories with mythical creatures and fairy-tale characters.
A feast for all senses
What better way to fortify yourself than with lunch in the garden? A cozy lunch snack, coffee and home-baked cakes await visitors. The musical accompaniment is provided by the trio Mr Moonlight, which invites you to sing along and celebrate - there is something for everyone here! The Weser courier highlights that entry to the entire festival is free, which makes this event all the more attractive.
But the summer festival is just the start of a varied program of events that is spread throughout the year. The “Open Monument Day” is coming up on September 14th, with the motto “Valuable: priceless or irreplaceable?” Guided tours are offered. Here too, visitors can relax with coffee and cake. Performances by the cabaret artist Nagelritz and the music group Plattgold will follow in September and October, which will further enrich cultural life in Langwedel.
Experience cultural diversity
There are two things to experience in November: there will be a book flea market on the 8th and 9th, followed by a reading by the author Marno Howald from “Ottos Schatten” on November 16th. The year ends with a concert by the Tüdelband on December 29th in the town hall. This season there is a children's culture series for younger guests with plays that will make the hearts of the youngest visitors beat faster.
The cultural offerings in Langwedel are extremely diverse and inviting. Come by and let yourself be carried away by the events in the Häuslingshaus - it's worth it! In addition, future events in the region, such as the Mälpils Kultūras Centrs in Latvia, will also host exciting cultural offerings that allow us to look beyond our own horizons (cf. tourism.sigulda.lv ). Take the opportunity and discover the many facets of culture and community - there is something for everyone!
