A missing four-legged friend is causing a stir in Butjadingen: The dog named “Bailey” has been missing since Wednesday, July 16th. In an unfortunate incident, the six-month-old dog broke away from her owner at Eckwarder Altendeich near the upper fire. The reason for this was contact with an electric fence that was live. After this shock, Bailey fled towards the mudflats, which put the owner in a worrying situation.
The Eckwarden fire department was alerted at 1:42 p.m. and immediately deployed several teams to search on both sides of the dike in the direction of Tossens and Eckwarderhörne.
