In Barghorn, in the Wesermarsch district, federal highway 211 will be completely shut down for six weeks from July 3, 2025. The Lower Saxony State Authority for Road Construction and Transport has determined that the urgently needed construction work at the B 211/L 864 intersection is moving into the next phase. This construction-intensive period extends until August 13, 2025. The work includes the renewal of the asphalt layers, the construction of a new rainwater canal, the creation of two bus stops with a connection to the cycle path, as well as the widening of the lanes and the installation of a new traffic light system.
