Beagleclub Wilhelmshaven celebrates 25 years - now also for other breeds!
A very special anniversary is being celebrated in Wilhelmshaven: The Beagle Club Nord looks back on 25 years of successful dog passion. Originally founded as a meeting place for beagle enthusiasts, the club is now opening up to other dog breeds and has become a popular destination for all dog lovers. Wilko Sittig, the chairman of the club and the proud owner of the male Beagle “Ari”, emphasizes how important this development is for the coexistence of the dog breeds. The club has made it its mission to take not only beagles but also other dogs into their hearts and to offer these wonderful four-legged friends a home.
Beagles are known for their friendly nature, but they also have their own challenges. The breed, which was originally bred in England for hunting brown hares, requires a lot of exercise and can tend to explore independently. Walking with a leash is therefore highly recommended to ensure that the dog does not simply run away. However, through regular training, Beagles can also be well behaved, even if this is sometimes a test of patience for the owners. The Beagle Club offers various training options such as agility and dummy training, which not only strengthen teamwork, but also promote the dogs' exercise and mental fitness.
Activities for humans and dogs
The Beagle Club's activities are diverse: from leisurely walks on the beach to sociable kale dinners to exciting Christmas parties - there is something for everyone here. Agility demonstrations are also part of the regular program and show how agile and lively this breed is. Beagles have an impressive combination of energy, intelligence and a sociable nature, making them ideal for a variety of dog sports that are both physically and mentally engaging. According to a report from dogbeagles.blogspot.com, beagles are one of the best dog breeds for such activities as they always want to keep moving and avoid boredom.
Dummy training not only teaches dogs new skills, but also promotes their independence and concentration. Beagles learn to find and bring back killed or injured animals - a skill that is important in game hunting. With the help of clear training and love, the relationship between humans and dogs can be significantly strengthened.
Shared passion and new members
The members of the Beagle Club North are full of dedication and joy in their shared passion for beagles. Regular meetings in the training area of the Pfotendynamic dog school enable dog owners to exchange ideas and make new friends. The club currently has 24 members and is looking for new interested people who own dogs that get along well with beagles. Robert and Sabine Frick, who are planning to move to Wilhelmshaven, are already looking and are very interested in becoming part of the community.
In order to increase the club's awareness, the Beagle Club is also active on social media. Those interested can find out about the latest events and activities on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. In addition, the homepage www.beagletreff.de is updated regularly to provide all dog lovers with a comprehensive overview.
The Beagle Club's anniversary celebration, which featured a warm atmosphere, coffee, cake and exciting agility demonstrations, shows how much the members are attached to their animals and how important exchange within the community is to them. It is moments like these that connect the love for dogs across generations and keep the joy of animals and people alive.
