Loges School celebrates 100 years: New managing director with big plans!

A big birthday is coming up: The Loges School in Langewerth is celebrating its 100th anniversary. With the new managing director Michael Klören at the helm, taking over the baton from Jörg-Harald and Sigrid Loges, an exciting chapter begins. Klören, who is considered the owner of Medischulen GmbH, has big plans for the future.

The Loges family, which is closely linked to the history of the school, is satisfied with the successor. School operations will continue under Klören's leadership without a change in ownership - existing processes and collaborations will be maintained. The Loges School, founded in 1925 by Carl Bernhardt Loges, has gone through many changes over the last 100 years. But the focus on quality education in healthcare remains constant.

Training offerings are being expanded

An exciting focus is on the planned introduction of occupational therapy training at the Loges School. Klören has already applied for state approval and hopes to be able to start training this year. Occupational therapy is an important discipline that focuses on helping patients regain and improve their ability to function. As described on the Vivantes website, the training includes practical elements such as assessing patients and setting treatment goals.

With the motto “Choose the difference”, medischulen announce that the focus is on future-oriented, qualified qualifications. The aim is not only training, but also the development of personal and social skills that are necessary for a successful career in health and social care. Klören plans to prepare students as best as possible for the challenges of the labor market through innovative approaches and practical training formats.

Commitment to the future

The Loges School relies on comprehensive support for its students. There is intensive support from teachers and practical instructors throughout the entire training. This guarantees that prospective occupational therapists acquire the necessary skills to be successful in their profession. Whether carrying out treatments, documenting them or evaluating them – the prospective therapists are optimally prepared for all requirements.

Finally, Jörg-Harald and Sigrid Loges would like to thank all employees, teachers, students and cooperation partners for their commitment. With Klören at the helm and an expanded training program in occupational therapy, the Loges School faces a promising future. The course has been set and it will be exciting to see how developments will continue to unfold.
