Wolfenbüttel Old Town Festival: Additional buses and closures expected!
The old town festival in Wolfenbüttel is just around the corner! From August 15th to 17th, 2025, the historic city center will become a lively festival mile. To ensure that visitors can get to this event safely, the KVG and the city of Wolfenbüttel have drawn up an extended timetable for local public transport. This information has been provided by regionalheute.de.

Traffic disruptions and diversions
For the Old Town Festival, central areas of the city center, such as Schlossplatz, Schulwall, Kommißstrasse and Kornmarkt, will be closed to traffic. This can have an impact on the timetable of lines 604, 607, 630, 710, 790, 791, 792, 793, 794, 795, 796 and 797 - so delays cannot be ruled out. The “Kornmarkt” stop will also be canceled during the event, so passengers should use the “Bahnhofstraße” stop.
The organizers recommend that you find out about the changed timetables and diversions in good time. Detailed information is available on the website of the KVG and the city of Wolfenbüttel: kvg-braunschweig.de and wolfenbuettel.de.
