Animal rights activists and employees of the animal protection association had to say goodbye to a beloved four-legged friend with a heavy heart. The male Strolch was torn from his life after a dramatic health condition, leaving a gap that can hardly be filled. This reports news38.de.
Tramp was more than just a pet; he was part of the family for many employees and animal rights activists. The emotional farewell took place together with the community on Facebook, where a touching video was shared. The reactions didn't take long to arrive: users left numerous messages of condolence and expressed gratitude for the time they were able to spend with Strolch.
A dramatic health battle
The sad news about Strolch's death is no coincidence. The male had undergone an intensive health procedure on May 19th. The nostrils were enlarged, the soft palate was shortened and the nasal cavity was treated with a complicated procedure. Despite the serious operation and subsequent pneumonia, Strolch fought for his life and was finally able to leave the hospital, where he did not feel well due to his excitement. He was allowed to return home relatively quickly, with the hope that he would soon be able to lead a normal dog life again, even going for walks in pleasant temperatures of around 20 °C.
An impressive EUR 4,905.88 was billed for the procedure, a sum that poses major challenges for the animal shelter association. We are therefore asking for financial support to keep the animal shelter running.
