Citizens' Festival at Hansaplatz: Get involved now and celebrate diversity!

In Wolfsburg, a colorful citizens' festival is coming up on Hansaplatz on Saturday, September 27th. From 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. all citizens are warmly invited to celebrate diversity and commitment together in the northern part of the city. The festival is organized by the local council, local institutions, associations and committed citizens who are committed to living together. The local council still has open doors for other people who would like to help shape the festival regionalheute.de reported.

There are no limits to creativity. Whether information stands, performances or hands-on activities - everyone interested, be it clubs, initiatives or school classes, is called upon to contribute their ideas. To get involved in the planning, anyone interested should contact Mayor Immacolata Glosemeyer by email (info@immacolata-glosemeyer.de) by the summer holidays. Detailed planning for the festival begins at the beginning of August.

Support for youth

With so much commitment in the northern part of the city, the situation of young people is also important. Lower Saxony's European Minister Birgit Honé recently visited Wolfsburg, accompanied by Mayor Glosemeyer and other SPD representatives. In the youth workshop, the minister found out about the challenges that young people are facing. Glosemeyer emphasized the importance of giving young people professional experience, while Iris Bothe pointed out the central role of youth workshops in the participation of young people immacolata-glosemeyer.de reported.

Unfortunately, there are concerns about funding for these important facilities. Independent organizations in Lower Saxony, including youth workshops, fear for the funds they receive from the European Social Fund. In total, an amount of around 165,000 euros needed for the Duderstadt branch will be eliminated. These funds are crucial for overcoming challenges such as career preparation and support for graduation hna.de.

Together into the future

The community festival on Hansaplatz could offer a wonderful opportunity to address these issues and also to draw attention to the need for support for young people and the diverse projects in the district. It is now up to the community to come together to address the future challenges in the northern part of the city.

Be there and take part in the community festival – because together you can achieve a lot!
