Alemannia Aachen is fighting for the Bitburger Cup: secure your tickets now!
On Sunday, August 17, 2025, Alemannia Aachen has an exciting duel on the program. As part of the Bitburger Cup, the Aachen team will face 1. FC Düren. From 3:00 p.m. the ball will roll in the stadium at the Dürener Westkampfbahn, which with its historic wooden stand from 1914 is not only a real eye-catcher from an architectural point of view, but also promises a special atmosphere. Visitors are treated to an exciting game that fans of both sides shouldn't miss. Alemannia Aachen reports on the preparations for this event.
Tickets are available until Friday, August 15th, 3 p.m. at the Tivoli (box office Nordost B, Mon. - Fri. 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.) and online. Standing tickets are available for €12.00 (full-paying) and €10.00 (reduced), while VIP tickets cost €79.00. Seats have already sold out, which shows that interest is high. A highlight: Children up to 14 years old can enter the stadium free of charge. Important to note - it is not possible to reserve tickets, although there will be a box office where tickets can be purchased on site.
Travel information and arrival
There are various travel options for everyone who wants to make their way to the Westkampfbahn. The bus trip from Tivoli starts at 1:00 p.m. and costs €10. For those traveling by train, various connections are available from Aachen. The recommended departure times are at 12:18 p.m. (RE 9, arrival 12:44 p.m.) and 12:51 p.m. (RE 1, arrival 1:16 p.m.). Drivers should note that there is limited parking in the area surrounding the stadium, but there is a free parking lot for visiting fans at Annakirmesplatz.
Fan paraphernalia is welcome when visiting the stadium. Flags and drums that can be seen from one side are allowed. However, special items such as choreos or banners must be registered in advance.
A special kind of gaming experience
The Westkampfbahn not only represents a sporting but also a historical setting. It is the oldest surviving wooden grandstand in Germany and therefore offers a special backdrop for the game. The ban on smoking in the main stand should also be taken into account, which makes attending the game a pleasant experience. The stadium opens at 1:30 p.m., so there's plenty of time to soak up the atmosphere and prepare for the game.
For anniversary visitors, we recommend taking a look at the live ticker on the Alemannia website and a free live stream on 100.5 Alemannia. If you want more, you can immerse yourself in the paid live stream from LEAGUES for €5.99. Fan representative Stephan Braun is available by telephone for fans who have questions or need further information. This also shows that the well-being of the fans comes first at Alemannia.
Be there if Alemannia wants to prove itself in the cup competition - it's definitely worth it!
