Arminia Bielefeld: Training camp creates a strong foundation for the 2nd league!

A new wind is blowing at Arminia Bielefeld! Head coach Mitch Kniat is enthusiastic about the current training camp, which not only serves as valuable preparation for the upcoming season in the 2nd Bundesliga, but also strengthens the team's sense of home. The warm atmosphere and the multitude of familiar faces create a great environment for growing together as a team. “The training camp forms the basis for a successful season,” said Kniat on the club’s official website Arminia.

Captain Mael Corboz emphasizes how important team building is: “We are together for almost 24 hours during the training camp, which bonds us very much.” This is also reflected in the Arminia Football School's high registration numbers, which underline the region's strong interest in the team. “The cooperation with the region will continue in the coming years,” announces Maria Theresia Gruber.

A unique experience in the DFB Cup

A special highlight was the participation of a delegation in the DFB Cup final in Berlin, which was described as a unique experience. “It was simply great to experience this and to see how the region voted for Arminia,” said a delighted board member. The anticipation for the new season, especially for the home games in the SchücoArena and the away trips to Schalke, could not be greater.

There is also a trend in the area: 18 second division teams have presented their summer schedules. VfL Bochum, among others, is heading to the Alps, where the team will hold its training camp in Scheffau from July 12th to 20th. Kicker reports that SC Paderborn will prepare in Walchsee, Austria between July 14th and 21st.

The competition never sleeps

However, the competition doesn't sleep: While FC Nürnberg's training started on June 24th, Karlsruher SC is heading to Neukirchen am Großvenediger in Austria for its training camp from July 13th to 21st. Hertha also prepared well for the season with a training camp in Kitzbühel.

Arminia Bielefeld's training camp in Kiens, Italy, will take place from July 12th to 20th. The conditions on site are optimal and Leon Schneider praises the good condition of the pitch. “We have shown a good hand and I am convinced that we can achieve a lot in the coming year,” concluded Kniat.

The commitment and anticipation at Arminia are clearly noticeable and give hope for an exciting season. The team starts the games of the upcoming Bundesliga season with a strong community and a clear focus on team building. The fans can be excited!
