DSC Arminia Bielefeld has an exciting development to announce in the world of football: From next season, the club will officially wear jerseys from sports supplier Umbro. The contract term with the previous supplier Macron, which has been Arminia's partner since 2020, ends. Managing director Christoph Wortmann confirmed that Umbro not only equips the licensed team, but also the youth performance center “Akademinia” and the women’s and girls’ department of the club. This makes the new partnership particularly comprehensive.

Umbro's success story, which began in Manchester in 1924, is impressive. Known for its high quality sportswear, the brand has kitted out a variety of top teams including West Ham United and Rayo Vallecano. A rich tradition

The Schüco Arena, home of Arminia Bielefeld, opened in 1926 as the Bielefelder Alm and has a similar history to many traditional British stadiums. Ewan Scott, Managing Director of Umbro UK, also highlights the club's great tradition and passionate fan base. This partnership was described as long-term. Arminia's first test match is scheduled for June 28th against SC Verl II, and the players and staff will be dressed in Umbro outfits when training starts on June 24th. The new jersey will be unveiled in the near future - so fans can be excited!

Umbro's commitment extends to more than just the top league of German football clubs. Almost 120 top teams rely on the brand. Through a strong partnership with Arminia Bielefeld, Umbro aims to deepen its connection with the local fan base while highlighting the value of the club's jersey.
