In Bochum it will be around in the university center from Monday, October 6th. Comprehensive construction work begins there, which will take about six weeks. Unfortunately, this also means some changes in bus traffic that pose new challenges for both students and residents.
As reported radiobochum.de, numerous bus lines are affected. To be more precise, lines 339, 344, 346, 356, 358, 370, 372, 374 as well as the Nachexpress lines NE7, NE8 and NE17. The Unicenter stop is not approached during work. Instead, passengers can use the Hallenbad Querenburg stop, which is moved to Schinkelstrasse. A replacement stop on the health campus is also set up for line 356 and 339.
Changed stops
The passengers of lines 344, 346, 370, 374, NE7, NE8 and NE17 are also particularly affected. The Ruhr University stop is moved to the Hustadtring at the level of house number 141 and opposite. There is a special feature for line 370: This will start and end on the side of the administration on Sundays.
Lines 358 and 372 are also not spared the changes during the construction work. Your stop will be laid to the existing Ruhr University stop at busig 5 below the administration. Another report by Bochum-journal.de mentions that passengers must be applied with understanding for this change. Additional traffic adjustments
Due to this construction work, there are also further diversions in rail transport. For example, a rail replacement traffic is set up between Bochum Hbf and the Vonovia-Ruhr Stadium.
