Something is happening in Bochum! A vacant lot on Kortumstrasse is being revitalized with the opening of a new Snipes branch. This reopening is scheduled to take place in November 2025, but the exact date has not yet been set. Snipes is moving into the former Voswinkel branch, which has supplied its long-standing customers with shoes for over 70 years. The new store will cover an impressive 500 square meters and is located in a highly frequented location. The existing, smaller branch nearby will be closed to move to this new location. Ruhr24 reports that Snipes, based in Cologne and founded in Essen in 1998, addresses the target group of young, urban people and offers a large selection of sneakers and streetwear from well-known brands as well as its own collections.
The Snipes branch will be part of a larger change on Kortumstrasse, where the Serways company is also announcing a new opening in another vacant building.
