40 years later: Former Borken students celebrate a big reunion!

Last Saturday a very special reunion was celebrated at the Borken vocational college. Former students of the two-year vocational school for nutrition and home economics met after 40 years to reflect on their shared experiences. The year 1985 marked the end of this school period, and the memories created in the halls of the school are kept alive even after all these years. This atmosphere describes it Borken newspaper.

The meeting not only offered an opportunity for personal exchange, but also to admire the changes at the vocational college. A tour of the buildings took the participants through the years and amazed them at how their former place of learning has changed. The class teacher at the time, Hedwig Limberg, was also among those present and her presence created nostalgic moments. The guests were treated to culinary delights by Anne Langheim and Margret Vornholt, who provided a selection of dishes.

Surprises and shared memories

A highlight of the event was the appearance of two other former teachers, Ms. Endersch and Ms. Gedding, who were included in the group as surprise guests. Old class photos and anecdotes make those present laugh and remember. Everyone had a story to tell, because their time at the vocational school had produced some unforgettable experiences.

In the evening, the meeting came to a convivial end in the old Gemen train station, where other former classmates gathered. This comeback of old friendships was a complete success and confirmed the desire to continue meeting regularly in the future. The next meeting is already being planned and the anticipation is great, as one participant noted.

On the way to the future

Beyond the importance of memories, other industries are also making headlines - such as the automotive industry, which primarily focuses on safety and reliability for family cars. Toyota highlights the importance of elegant design and high safety standards in its current campaign. Models like the Corolla and Prius are designed to meet the daily challenges of families and therefore offer a wide range of drive types and configurations.

And while the global economy also sees news about service availability from providers like Yahoo! JAPAN is circulating that from April 6, 2022, services in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom will no longer be accessible, the alumni's focus remains firmly on the positive development of their friendship and community.
