Honors for loyal members: KLJB Borkenwirthe celebrates long-standing love of music!
In a warm setting, the instrumental group of the KLJB Borkenwirthe honored long-standing members and showed how important community and loyalty are in music. The club's chairman, Christian Ehling, not only praised the committed musicians, but also the valuable work of the substitute conductors.
The substitute conductors Bernhard Ehling, Stefan Lansmann-Niehaus, Guido Hoppmann and Andreas Schlottbom received an appreciative gift as a thank you for their tireless efforts. Your contribution is an excellent example of how important it is to act in the background in order to continue to run the club harmoniously.
Honor for loyal members
A special moment was the recognition of Jürgen Becker, who resigned from his position as second chairman after many years of successful service. Those present gave him great applause, and the new second chairwoman Katharina Jacobs presented him with a present - a token of appreciation for the work he has done.
Various members were honored for their long-standing loyalty to the club. Bernd Hülskamp, Simon Rottstegge and Andreas Schlottbom were honored for an impressive 30 years of membership. Marietta Dieckmann and Alexander Nießing received an honor for 25 years of loyal service, while Eva-Maria Nießing and Peter Nießing were thanked for 20 years in the club. Maria Lansmann-Niehaus was also happy about the 10th anniversary of her membership. Such awards strengthen the bond and the joy of making music together.
A club with tradition and future
The instrumental group of KLJB Borkenwirthe e. V. is not only the first and only orchestra of the Catholic rural youth movement in Germany, but also a place where musicians of all ages come together to live brass music. The aim of the association is to promote making music together as a hobby and also to provide training opportunities for children, young people and adults. The training usually takes place without any prior knowledge, so that anyone interested has access to club life. A lot of emphasis is placed on integration and community, as the instrumental group's official website shows instrumentalgruppe.de.
Given the importance of music in community life, it is gratifying to see that such projects are gaining recognition beyond local borders. The Federal Music Association highlights how important engagement in music is for society. This shows that instrumental music not only entertains, but also builds a bridge between people.
The evening ended with a finale and a firm promise to continue the tradition of the instrumental group. Together we will continue to ensure that the sounds of brass music remain alive in Borkenwirthe and inspire future generations.
