Rellinghausen overruns Budberg – Bottrop with a furious comeback!
There was a lot of excitement in the football circle on November 2nd, 2025. The fans got their money's worth when Sportfreunde Hamborn 07 and PSV Wesel met. The game ended 2-1 for PSV Wesel, which freed itself from the bottom of the table. The goals for Weseler were scored by Luis Jakob Blaswich and Felix Gehrmann, while Rashad Ouro-Akpo scored the consolation goal for Hamborn. The duel was already decided in the first half when Rellinghausen had the upper hand 5-1. Berkan Eken shone with two goals, while Malik Tchalawou, Bünyamin Sahin and Niklas Plijic each added another goal. Moritz Paul scored the only goal for Budberg. This means that Rellinghausen consolidates its 2nd place and Budberg has to be content with 5th place.
The top game in Bottrop
VfB Bottrop, leading in the table, played against Sportfreunde Niederwenigern and emerged as the clear favorite. But the start of the game was anything but according to plan, as Bottrop quickly fell behind 0-2. Goals from Marc Fabian Rapka and Frederik Lach put pressure on the favorites. But striker Raphael Steinmetz had other plans and scored an impressive double strike with a follow-up goal and two further goals that secured Bottrop's 4-2 victory. With a total of 11 goals this season, Steinmetz is a hot number in the league, reports Kicker.
The balance sheet for FC Kray, however, does not look rosy. After already having seven games without a win, they were unable to score anything against SV Scherpenberg and lost 2:4. Baha Arslanboga shone with two goals for Scherpenberg, while Luca Kazelis could only add the wreath of honor for Kray.
Prospects and upcoming match days
The next match days have now also been determined. The 13th matchday is scheduled for November 7th to 9th, 2025, followed by the 14th matchday, which will take place between November 14th and 16th, 2025.
