There is now an exciting novelty for Monopoly fans in Dortmund: The new one Monopoly Dortmund Edition is now available in stores! This freshly updated version, developed by Winning Moves in collaboration with Dortmund City Marketing, brings with it the city's unique surprises.
What makes the new edition special? It not only includes well-known Dortmund places, sights and districts, but also replaces the classic train station districts with well-known areas such as the Nordstadt, the Kreuzviertel, the Kaiserviertel and the Unionviertel. This makes the game even more of a journey of discovery through Dortmund. The mascot Mr. Monopoly appeared at the presentation in the German Football Museum - a hot tip for all Monopoly lovers!
The details of the new edition
Thanks to a comprehensive revision, the edition is now a contemporary successor to the regional edition from 2007, which is now out of print. In addition, the traditional event and community cards appear in a new look: the Ruhrpott News cards and Pott community cards bring a breath of fresh air into the game. Even if the game figures are not specially made, the design of the graphics reflects the character and culture of the city even more.
There is also a special connection to regional companies. These can present themselves on the playing field after there has been an application phase for partner companies. This not only strengthens the game, but also the local economy - another plus on the list!
