On September 1, 2025, the move to the new headquarters in the “RWI 4” office complex in Unterbilk will be completed, where around 700 employees will find a new home. The retailer, which emerged from the merger of Karstadt and Kaufhof, is moving into a modern environment with a lot of potential.

The “RWI 4” is a striking building that consists of two silver twin towers and was originally built in the 1970s. After a comprehensive modernization in 2020, the complex not only offers contemporary office space, but is also strategically located near the Media Harbor and the city center. This could significantly increase the attractiveness for employees and business partners, which could prove to be a smart move.

Company spokespeople have confirmed that the entire administration, including the service center with 690 employees, will move to the new premises.
